My Journey to Chandranath Hill – A Day Above the Clouds

Back in 2020, I had the chance to visit Chandranath Hill in Sitakunda, Chattogram, and to this day, it remains one of the most refreshing and memorable trips of my life.

I had always heard that Sitakunda is a place where mountains meet greenery in the most peaceful way, but seeing it with my own eyes was something completely different. The moment I started the journey toward Chandranath Hill, I could already feel that this trip was going to be special.

The Climb – Tiring but Worth Every Step

Climbing Chandranath Hill was not exactly easy, especially under the sun, but the experience made it exciting rather than exhausting. The path had a mix of stairs, uneven trails, and natural greenery all around. As I went higher, the air started to feel fresher and cooler. Every time I stopped to catch my breath, I looked around and saw endless green hills stretching into the distance — and that view alone gave me the energy to keep going.

I remember holding a walking stick during parts of the climb, which really helped on the steeper sections. There were moments when my legs felt tired, but the peaceful surroundings, the sound of birds, and the soft wind made everything feel calm and enjoyable.

The View from the Top – Pure Peace

When I finally reached the top, I felt an incredible sense of achievement. Standing there, looking out over layers of green hills fading into the horizon under a wide blue sky, I felt completely at peace. It was one of those rare moments where you just stop thinking about everything else — work, stress, responsibilities — and simply enjoy being alive in that moment.

The silence up there was different. It wasn’t empty; it was peaceful. Just nature, open sky, and the feeling that I was far away from the noise of everyday life.

More Than Just a Trip

This trip was not only about hiking or sightseeing. It was also about disconnecting from my routine and reconnecting with nature — and with myself. Chandranath Hill reminded me how important it is to sometimes step away from screens and busy schedules and just spend time outdoors.

Even now, when I think about that day, I remember the fresh air, the endless green scenery, and the calm feeling in my heart. It’s a memory that still makes me smile.

Final Thoughts

If anyone ever asks me for a place in Bangladesh that offers both adventure and peace, Chandranath Hill will always be on my list. It challenged me physically, refreshed me mentally, and gave me a beautiful memory that I’ll always carry with me.

I truly hope to go back there again someday.
