Perfection: Custom PHP Business Management System

Perfection is a design, printing and branding company in Bangladesh, offering indoor and outdoor branding, POSM and corporate gifts. I designed and built its complete online presence and internal operations system from scratch in plain PHP and MySQL, with no framework, and deployed it on cPanel hosting.

The project has two parts.

1. Public website (perfection-bd.com)

A fast, responsive company website with services, projects, a showcase and achievements. Visitors can request a quote or send a message. The forms are protected by CSRF tokens, a honeypot, timing checks and per-IP rate limiting. Every request is saved to the database first, then emailed to the team through PHPMailer over SMTP, so no lead is ever lost. The site also includes a privacy-friendly, cookie-free page-view tracker that identifies traffic sources (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and others), plus an XML sitemap and robots.txt for SEO.

2. Business management app (app.perfection-bd.com)

A secure back-office application the company uses every day:

- Modules for Orders and Work Orders, Projects, Income, Expenses, Accounts, Assets, Inventory and Employees

- A dashboard and reports with Chart.js charts, and PDF exports through TCPDF

- Manage Site: a built-in CMS to edit the public website's content, settings and email notifications without touching code

- Role-based access control: each user gets permissions per module and action

- Security: hashed passwords, login lockout after repeated failed attempts, prepared statements, validated uploads and protected storage folders

- Automated daily backups of the database and uploaded files through a cron job, with old backups pruned automatically

This project brought together everything I enjoy in software engineering: understanding how a real business works, turning that into a data model and workflows, and shipping a secure, maintainable system that people use every day.
